So here are the party favours I will be giving out at the end of the party, tin man soap, wizard of oz sticker, coloured bangle and some sweets either wrapped in pink tissue paper (good witch) or green tissue paper (bad witch).

So I have decided for my birthday this year I will have a wizard of oz party. I have always loved it. I love to plan stuff early so I have time to find and make things instead of a rush ne'er the time. It's not till late September ( crazy I know).

The first thing I have made this week (yesterday thanks to the great British weather SNOW DAY) are one of my party favours. I made some cute mini rose scented heart soaps with a kit I got for my birthday one year. Then I wrapped them individually in cling film and double sided taped them to a handmade tin man cutout on silver card! I hope my friends love them !

punchbox prizes for party

 

So I decided one way for kids to get prizes at a party is a punchbox. I found this idea that was a partygame but i thought it would be better  for prizes, this is how i made mine:

 

 

 I drew 12 spaced out circles over one face of a cardboard box!

 I cut out the circles

 I tested the holes where big enough by pushing my fist through

 i used crafters glue stick round the edges of the face of the box and the wholes and then i stuck a colourful piece of wrapping paper on top. You must do round each circle or when you punch it moast the paper off the box will come off!

 I used different cupcake stampers to mark out where people need to punch

 i placed 3 small prizes on each circle, the prizes included sweets, bath bits, mini lipglosses,small toys, scented stationary and stickers.

 I covered each circle with a small brown paper bag and secured it to the box with celetape.

This is my finished punchbox!

 

This could also make a realy cool advent callender for next year!



Turn the wonderball into the cupcake game

At my previous birthday party i called the wonderball game the cupcake game, due to the face, it looked like a cupcake!

 

Here is how you can turn your wonderball into the cupcake game

 

you will need:

craft glue

tape

cupcake case

pom pom craft ball

 

 here are my wonderballs  i made in my earlier blog

 i put glue where i taped it shut

 and i stuck it into the cupcake case

 then i glued on top a pom pom, but it isnt as easy as it lookes

 if in doupt get the tape out

 i folded a piece of parcle tape (the only tape i could find at the time) so it was sticky on both sides or if you are more fancy use some doube sided tape and stick the pompom on top

 

and here are my finished cupcakes for the cupcake game!

 



DIY Wonderball party game

This is how to make and play my version of the wonderball game

 

You will need:

roll or strips of crepe paper ( I used old ones from a previous party)

center prize circular shaped ( I used a small round bath bomb)

seletape

Truth or dares written on pieces of paper (I used about 16)

 

 

 Place the prize at one end of the crepe paper roll

 roll up into a neat ball to cover the prize

 roll up more using about 30cm more of crepe streamer

 this is where you will need your truths and dares

 fold them up small and carefully roll it up neatly to cover using roughly 20cm - 1m crepe then add anouther and so on

 Because they where pre cut strips it got to the end to early so i added a different left over colour onto the end

 when you have added your last truth or dare roll up into a neat ball using a further 20cm - 1m of crepe and stick down end to the ball with a piece of tape.

and thats how you make a wonderball.... now how to play.....

 

 

Everyone sits round in a circle on the floor or round a table. the tape is carefully take off and the person to start holds the end of the crepe. theye keep hold of it. the ball is passed round and everyone keeps hold of the crepe that is held over their laps through the game.

When a piece of paper falls out everyone stops. whoever it drops out nearest does the truth or dare. I put stars on each one to say how dirty or hard they where. once someone completes theirs they either get a prize depending on how higher truth or dare they did so *=small prize like a smartie ***=lolly*****=small prize... or the points are added up so 1 point for every star and then at the end the one with the moase stars win. if someone doesnot want to do their truth or dare then someone ellse can do it as a bonus!

 

at the end of the game the prize will fall out as a bonus... whoever it falls out on wins!

last party i placed a woopie pie lip gloss in the center

 

all my friends and i thought the wonderball was a great hit and totaly loved it!

These truths and dares can be used by being written on bits of paper, folded up in a bowl and picked out in turns or for the wonder ball game…

 

The more stars the dirtier they are!

Dares:

*Do the robot dance!

*GROUP DARE: See who can jump the highest!

**Pretend you are riding a horse: saddle up, ride and finally gallop!

**Let the group tickle you for 1 minute!

**Do the splits as well as you can!

**You have a genies lamp, make 3 wishes!

***Say this tongue twister twice: “Silly Simon’s sitting in a shoe shine shop. Where he sits he shines and where he shines he sits!”

***Smell everybody and declare who you think is the best!

***Tell us an embracing story about yourself in full detail!

***Tell everybody a rumour you heard about yourself!

 ****Lie down and pretend you are giving birth to a large baby!

**** Kiss anyone in the room who is wearing red, if no one is wearing red, kiss someone passionately!

****Turn your back to the group and put your arms around yourself, pretend you are passionately making out with someone else!

 ****Grab tow objects or toys and for 2 minutes pretend they are having a sexual night together!

***** Take off your top and run around swinging it round your head for 1 minute shouting “I’m sexy”!

*****Describe your pubic hair style in one word!
